Prophetess Overseer Sonia Stewart

Out of Sonia Stewart Ministry was birthed a prophetic ministry that has transformed the lives of many and continues to break boundaries and expectation as God leads us through in Divine Prophetic Order. Shekinah Shur Prophetic Ministries was birthed on the 9th of March 2008 at the residence of the Senior Ministers Pastor and Co-pastor Stewart with a handful of faithful stewards who believed that, “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry” Habakkuk 2:3

The main branch is in Nottingham England but God has already opened doors for the ministry to plant sister churches in London and Birmingham.Under Divine Prophetic Order, Shekinah Shur Ministries takes a stand as a family to answer the call to not only seize the city of Nottingham but to march into international borders through all media fronts to promote the gospel of Christ to all nations.

The name of the Ministry is,“SHEKINAH SнUR PROPHETIC MINISTRIES” SHEKINAH SнUR is the distilled Hebrew for, “Kingdom gates”. Shekinah is derived from the word Kingdom which represents the 1st heaven and it also means presence. (Extracts and understanding taken from): http://www.imninalu.net/50GatesOfWisdom.htm Malkut, the Sefirah most closely associated with God’s presence on earth (the Shekinah). She is the bride and the last or small “H” in the Name of God. Malkut:   1st heaven – “H” (“lesser” Hey) (Asiyyah – world of Action) Physical/Actions: Realm of the Shekinah and physical creation Malkut – Primary meaning: Kingdom; also known as: Shekinah (Presence).

The word SнUR broken down to its letters has three different profound meanings: Sн: means bringing forth or to birth U: is broken and contrite spirit with outstretched arms to God and R stands for harvest. Distilled Definition of “Gate” Spelling in Hebrew: Extracts and understanding taken from: http://www.greaterthings.com/Word-Number/Gospel/gate.htm

The three Hebrew letters that spell the word that means “gate” (#8179 ShUR) are Sh shin, U ayin, and R resh. Sh shin represents “bringing forth” or “birth;” U ayin represents a broken heart and contrite spirit with outstretched arms to God; and R resh represents “harvest.”  So the distilled definition of this word (ShUR) could be expressed: “The bringing forth for new birth a broken heart and contrite spirit for God’s harvest [gathering: the word immediately after the various forms of “gate” in English].”

Words around “Gate” in the Hebrew Lexicon Those three letters with different vowel points mean 8176 ShUR: to cleave, to divide. This brings to mind the decision that must be made to either enter in by the straight gate, and serve God or to remain in bondage to mammon, where the gates of hell prevail.

All in all Shekinah ShUR in meaning states; kingdom bringing forth or birthing a broken and contrite spirit with outstretched arms to God’s harvest!
